Run on the Runway

Organization Info
The Moraine Airpark is a public use, privately owned airport located in Moraine, OH. Come join us on October 19th to race down the runway and through Wax Park. Visitors are welcome any day of the week to come talk to our staff, spectate airplanes taking off and landing either on our patio or pavillion area, or during community events hosted at the airport. The local pilot community at the airport is very active, but is always open to new faces. Active groups in our community include the EAA chapter 48 and Dayton Aviation Services flight school.

Event Info
The 5K race will run the length of the runway, portions of the taxiway, part of Wax Park, and the local neighborhood adjacent to the airport.

The 1K race will run the length of the runway from the depature end of runway 26 to the depature end of runway 8.

Race day registration (Moraine Airpark)
7am - packet pick up opens
8:30am - 1K starts
9am - 5K starts
10:15am - timing stops

Registration
Through May 31
1K - $15 (This distance is on the runway! Great for a warm up to the 5K or for those who want a shorter distance, no shirt included)

5K - $35 (includes shirt)

Run the Runway and do both events!
$40 (includes shirt)

Cancellation Policy
In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by the timing company, race organizers, public safety officials, or anyone else in charge, we reserve the right to reschedule the event date, if possible, cancel the race, or convert this to a virtual 5K race. There will be no refunds and race items will not be mailed.
