Bike Up Northumberland is a charity ride held in support of our hospitals in Northumberland County. It is a joint-event benefiting Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation and Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation .
The 4th Annual Home Hardware Bike Up
is a charity ride held on Saturday, September 15th, 2018 in support of our hospitals
in Northumberland County. It is a joint-event benefiting Campbellford Memorial
Hospital Foundation and Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation and funds
raised are equally distributed to both Foundations to support the purchase of
priority medical equipment.
cycling route follows the scenic Waterfront Trail from Cobourg’s Donegan Park
to Presqu'ile Park in Brighton. As a rider you can choose from one of five
distances (5 km, 10 km, 25 km, 50 km and 100 km). There is a registration fee,
but we also encourage riders to set a fundraising goal for themselves to
support our community hospitals. All ages and cycling abilities are welcome.

Ride for the Jersey!
Ride for the Jersey is a new feature introduced for the first time this year.
Any participant who raises $300 or more will receive an official Bike Up
Northumberland riding jersey post event. FREE!

• $50 registration fee from August 1st – September 14th at 12 noon
• $75 registration fee at Donegan Park on day of event
Special Family Registration:
• $60 for up to 2 adults and up to 3 children under 16 for the 5 km and 10 km rides only

Register on your own or create a team of your family and friends. Once registered we'll help you create your own personal page to share your story and ask for donations to help reach your fundraising goal*. Donations can be collected online through your personal page or offline by using a pledge form. All donations are tax deductible.
*Prizes will be awarded for those who collect pledges
•Riders aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
•PLEASE NOTE HELMETS ARE MANDATORY
•Start time for the 100 km. route is 7:45 a.m. The 50 km. route starts at 9:45 a.m. The 25 km. route starts at 10:45 a.m. The 10 km route starts at 11 a.m. and the 5 km. ride starts at 11:30 a.m.
•All routes start and end at Donegan Park in Cobourg
•All routes are well marked with rest stops providing refreshments and roving support vehicles for mechanical assistance.
•Entrants will celebrate the finish with a well-deserved FREE post-ride BBQ lunch hosted by the Lions Clubs of Cobourg and Campbellford and prizes.
